Heavy rainfall and heat waves are putting cities under increasing pressure—and presenting new planning challenges.

The way rainwater is managed, retained, and utilized in urban areas plays a key role in determining the resilience and quality of urban spaces. We are pleased to announce that our colleague Lisa Plückebaum has successfully completed the DWA continuing education course “Site Drainage – Rainwater” and has received the DWA-certified specialist planner certificate in “Site Drainage – Rainwater.”

Thanks to our in-depth expertise in hydraulic design, flood risk assessments and rainwater management, we are able to ensure with even greater precision in our planning work that rainwater is retained, infiltrated or utilised on site – laying the foundations for thriving green spaces and urban climate resilience.
