Research, teaching and knowledge transfer in the field of green roofs
As the Institute for Urban Nature, we see ourselves not merely as a planning consultancy, but as an active part of the research community.
We are involved in current research projects on the topic of green roofs, combining a broad range of practical expertise from various disciplines with a sound scientific foundation.
We also pass on our knowledge through academic teaching – through seminars, online courses and field trips, we provide high-level specialist knowledge on the subject of green roofs, including at TU Darmstadt, Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences, HfWU Nürtingen-Geislingen and RWTH Aachen University. We also publish findings from practice and research in specialist publications.
